GASTRIC CANCER

After doing his residency at Ege University Faculty of Medicine Department of General Surgery between 1990 and 1995, he continued his work as chief resident in the same clinic since 1995. He became an associate professor in 2000 and a professor in 2006 afterward. He has appeared in numerous domestic and foreign articles, book chapter writing or translation. He served in numerous administrative positions such as faculty board/faculty board member, department head. Special interests include laparoscopic and robotic surgery, upper gastrointestinal surgery, hernia surgery and clinical nutrition. He is a member of the International Gastric Cancer Association, the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery, the European Society of Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition and the European Hernia Society. He knows French and English as a foreign language. Additionally, he is married and has 2 children.
